**It is highly unlikely to overdose yourself through your skin. If your body is saturated with enough magnesium, the skin simply does not absorb any more.

I do not recommend using it on your face yet without my own long term application. However, studies show that magnesium cream help clear out eczema flare-ups. It does sting if you use it on a skin rash or a wound, but it will go away quickly leaving the skin soothed.
*If you are a first time user of magnesium cream, you may feel a tingling sensation at the first few applications. It is normal and very common. This is because your body is deprived of magnesium and it's now absorbing it so rapidly and desparately.

I absolutely love the magnesium cream. Within minutes of putting it in my feet I’m falling asleep and sleep so sound. If my legs are restless, I put it on them and it takes the restlessness away.
